Never Say Never: 1997 Sundance Sensation ‘Colin Fitz Lives!’ Finally Getting Released After 13 Years

For most independent filmmakers, the light at the end of the tunnel during a difficult low budget production is a successful showing at the Sundance film festival that can lead to a theatrical release. These days, even that dream is becoming a long shot, since many of the major distributors of independent films have shut down their operations amidst financial setbacks. There have been plenty of nightmare scenarios recently (with David O. Russell‘s Nailed being the most prominent) that have illustrated the difficulty of financing and distributing smaller movies. ‘Eat Pray Love’ Poster Helps Direct Traffic At Downtown Chicago Multiplex

In case motorists are confused where to enter the parking ramp to the Webster Palace multiplex, they can just follow Julia Roberts’ creepy, ecstasy filled gaze on the poster for Eat Pray Love. Roberts’ name and the title are obscured in the picture, but Julia Ro starring in a movie Eat Pray has a nice ring to it.

HEY, I THINK I SEE A CELEBRITY! All Chi-Town Sightings, Week of 7/26

From time to time, celebrities do step out of LA and New York to venture over to the windy city. They’re not always A-list, but — what the hell, we’ll take what we can get. This week’s sightings:

  • Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora, had dinner at Japonais on Thursday. They were in town to perform two shows at Soldier Field as part of their year long “Circle Tour”, which will stop everywhere  from Japan to Latin America and Australia. In an interview with E!
