CW Cancels ‘Melrose Place’

The CW has announced their fall 2010 prime time schedule and, in what comes as no surprise, the ratings challenged Melrose Place has been cancelled. The reboot was off to a bad start from the beginning, with an awkward marketing campaign featuring the taglines, “Menage a Tues,” and, “Tuesday’s the new Humpday.” Not even bringing back Heather Locklear, who reprised the role that she played in the 90s original; the conniving Amanda Woodward, could save it. At least it lasted longer than The Beautiful Life.
