FIRST LOOK: ‘Transformers 3′ Invades Chicago

With the highest sales tax in the country and other annoyances like for profit parking meters and Mayor Daley‘s constant shenanigans, Chicagoans are used to being inconvenienced. Lately commuters have had to deal with traffic closures for Hollywood movies like the upcoming Vince Vaughn comedy What You Don’t Know and before that for The Oprah Winfrey Show season opener. The daytime diva used her clout as one of the city’s premiere tourist attractions to close off Michigan Avenue for a massive concert featuring performances by The Black Eyed Peas. Now thanks to Transformers 3, comes the city’s biggest mandated shutdown yet. The Michael Bay epic has invaded downtown Chicago for the weekend. Michigan Avenue between Ontario Street and Wacker Drive will remain closed until 5 a.m. on Monday. Screen Rant has posted pictures and videos, some of which are posted below.
