HEY, I THINK I SEE A CELEBRITY! All Chi-Town Sightings From 07/06 To 07/13
From time to time celebrities do step out of LA and New York to venture over to the windy city! They’re not always A-list, but what the heck, we’ll take what we can get. This week’s sightings, as compiled by Red Eye:
Kevin Jonas was in town for the he and his brothers’ sold out performance at the All State Arena. He and fiancée Danielle Deleasa dined on deep dish pizza at Giordano’s and stayed at the Peninsula Hotel. His music may be terrible, but at least he’s adventurous enough to eat the local cuisine
MC Hammer promoted his new A&E reality show Hammertime at the Chicago Sport and Social Club’s 20th anniversary celebration. With the new show and his trendy use of Twitter, you just “can’t touch” this legendary rapper’s comeback. Unless, of course, he goes bankrupt again.
Joel Madden, of the pop-punk group Good Charlotte, listened to a Michael Jackson tribute set by DJ Rock City at J Bar Wednesday night. He seemed to be having a good time, as no flight attendants were there to harrass him.
Samantha Ronson, who seems to have reunited with Lindsey Lohan, did her DJ thing at Crimson Lounge Friday Night. After her set, she hung out at Angels & Kings well after closing. Just another day at the office, right?
David Cook had dinner at Sunda on Sunday, before performing at the House of Blues, which is ironic since his encore of “I Don’t Want to Miss A Thing” caused some people in the audience to lose their dinner.
