NBC’s ‘My Name is Earl’ Bites The Dust
WENN reports that today, after four years of mediocre ratings, decent reviews and overall apathy with viewers, the Jason Lee-starring sitcom My Name is Earl has been canceled by NBC. The network, which has been struggling in recent months, is cleaning up shop. Executives are hoping that a fresher fall schedule will give them a boost.
On his Twitter page, Earl co-star Ethan Suplee writes:
Just got the call that My Name is Earl has been canceled. They sure did take their time with that decision.
You can say that again. The show probably should’ve been canceled four years ago.
