Superbowl XLVI: Saints Win, But Betty White Steals The Show

The New Orleans Saints came back from a weak start, early in the game, to win Superbowl XLVI, which started out promisingly enough but didn’t really deliver. The Who could have used a wardrobe malfunction to amp up their halftime show, which featured a tired medley of their classic hits. Drew Brees may have been voted MVP, but Betty White deserved it more, seeing as her Snickers ad stole the show.

It’s been a successful year for the 88 year old actress. Sandra Bullock can thank White for being a big part of the reason the silly rom-com The Proposal skyrocketed to $163M in ticket sales. Not surprisingly, a facebook page dedicated to having the 88 year old actress host Saturday Night Live is now over 73,000 strong. Overall, the biggest surprise of night was that nothing was in 3D.
