‘The Bonnie Hunt Show’ Gets Canceled, Just Like All The Other Bonnie Hunt Shows

Bonnie Hunt‘s talk show, which began in the fall of 2008, has been canceled. I never really watched, but whenever I caught an ad for it while flipping channels I was always amazed it was still on the air. Daytime is a tough nut to crack and for every Ellen there’s been ten shows that didn’t make it. Hunt now joins Megan Mullally, Roseanne and even Oprah‘s best friend Gayle King in the failed daytime chat lineup.

The cancellation is the third in a row, for the actress in a show with her name in the title, following The Bonnie Hunt Show, which only lasted twelve episodes on CBS in 1995 and Life With Bonnie, which lasted from 2002-2004. She played a TV host in that show, which means each of her forays as a TV host; portraying the fictional version and the real thing, met the same fate. Maybe she’ll have better luck in show that doesn’t have her name attached. Below are clips from all her previously canceled ventures.

LIFE WITH BONNIE (2002-2004)

THE BONNIE HUNT SHOW (1995-96)
